We requested the installation instruction and cut list before ordering. After reviewing the instructions, we were quite confident that we could easily build this gazebo. It took us 2 days with 2 people to finish the main structure with shingled roof. We laid down sand and added pavers for the deck area. The gazebo looks fabulous and we are already enjoying it. We love it.

Riooudoors was very helpful. They helped us figure out exactly what size would fit in our backyard. Then they sent us the custom cut list, materials list, and installation instructions. They suggested to us to get a Lowes Pro account which then reduces delivery charge to $20 instead of the normal $97. Since we did not have a full size truck, this made a lot of sense. So we got our Pro account and ordered our lumber, plywood, and shingles from Lowes. They delivered it the next day to our driveway. This saved us so much physical effort and hassle. We started preparing the posts with top and bottom elbows on Friday evening and completed them within 1-1/2 hours. Then we cut the headers and floating footers which took another 1 hour or so. Saturday morning, we started assembly work. The lower structure framing was done in less than 2 hours. Then we worked on the roof framing which took another 4 hours. Saturday evenings, we started the roof deck nesting work. Sunday morning, we cut the roof deck boards and started adding them. It is amazing that every piece of board fit just right. By noon on Sunday, roof deck was done. Then we started adding tar paper, drip edges, and shingles. By end of day on Sunday, we finished the shingle work. By following the instructions, we achieved a smooth work flow. We are thrilled with our ability to build this structure which looks quite amazing. We are very happy and want to thank Riooutdoors for helping us out so much. Now that we have the Lowes Pro account and low delivery fee, we will be using that a lot for sure.

The floating deck was our choice. We did not want to spend too much pouring a new concrete pad. Instead, after finishing the main structure and roof, we used dry pour concrete in the deck area. It saved us a bunch compared to having wet concrete delivered and poured. The main structure build work was straight forward. Riooutdoors supplied our custom cut lists and instructions very quickly. That information was invaluable to us. We are very pleased and looking forward to using our new outdoor living space in a week or so after our dry pour concrete has cured.
