- Gussets eliminate the need for wooden corner gussets and provide a wide open living space appearance.
- Designed to construct a high quality and high strength structure which will last for a lifetime.

Octagon Size
- The size shown in the Kit Description (e.g., 10 to 13ft. Wide Solid Roof) defines the width between two parallel Octagon walls.
- The size of a Partial Octagon structure is defined by the outer width dimension between two parallel walls of the Partial Octagon structure.
- To determine what size Octagon will fit in the space available in your yard, include and add the extra space required for the roof overhangs past the Octagon walls. We recommend a 12″ roof overhang past the Octagon walls.
- The size of the octagon you can build employing this bracket kit (measuring across two parallel sides) ranges from 10 feet to 25 feet, depending on the length of the headers.
- The living space you can create ranges between 62 sq. ft to 249 sq. ft.
- Detailed specifications for header length to octagon size and living area are provided in the Instructions Manual.
The solid roof kit is designed to eliminate all wood joinery skills requirements.
-
- All roof brackets are designed to provide superior structural support and strength to the structure, far exceeding the strength provided by wood joinery.
- The brackets simplify wood members cutting and adding end treatments.
- The brackets provide precise fit and alignment yielding an architechtural roof structure.

Love our new open end partial octagon gazebo. Very easy to install, especially the open end truss design. All brackets fit easily and were simple to assemble. We highly recommend RioOutdoors.

I am very impressed with all the support I received. I submitted the form for custom cut lists and custom instructions and within 24 hours, I had everything in my email. I was cautious and did everything with caution. Measured, verified, and reverified. You know what? They had everything and every item dimension exactly what I came up with. These results led me to trust their cut lists and I moved along very fast making all the lumber cuts and parts.
I was not disappointed at all. When I started assembling, every single piece of wood fit perfectly. I still cannot believe how accurate and simple they have made this. It is truly a DIYer’s dream.
This structure was very complex and I was racking my brain trying to figure out the cut angle of even a few parts. What RioOutdoors provided as cut list and installation instructions was PERFECT!
I super-highly recommend that you also request the cut list and custom assembly instructions.
BTW. These guys must be very versed in creating legible instructions, unlike the imported brands…:-). Their instructions did not have even one typo. So, they must be genuinely American Made!

At first, I found this structure a bit wobbly and swaying. But after bolting the floor anchors down, everything stiffened up solid. Even more so after the roof deck was added. It feels very solid and sturdy now. Happy with end results.

Easiest thing to do is to decide to use 6×6 lumber. Hardest thing to do is to lift and move 6x6s. But once the lower 6×6 framing was finished, the roof framing felt so easy using much lighter pieces of dry 2x8s. So we sweated like mad the first half of the day and relaxed in the breeze the second half. Next day, we add shingles. It went very fast and looks great. Awesome structure with architectural exposed beams.

Everything worked well. All parts fit and all lumber pieces fit well. It was straight forward to build the lower structure and just as easy to add the solid roof framing. We chose the new architectural shingles and the videos on youtube were spot on and helpful. Very happy with our new found outdoor living space.

With so much high quality and detailed information available through riooutdoors, we found it very easy to install. Our gazebo is 16 feet wide. It is much bigger than we really need but it gives us lots of room for furniture, barbecuer, and a bar. Very impressive bracket designs also. Definitely designed for DIY.
