This is a custom-made octagon roof peak cap.

All corner joints in this cap are tack welded and sealed with all weather butyl tape on both the inside and outside. This cap comes painted black with black paint. It can be spray painted over with desired color to match shingles or metal panels.

This cap is made for 12-12 pitched octagon roofs. It fits perfectly at the peak and provides weather proof seal at this difficult to seal area. These caps covers 12″ down from the peak.

To install, remove ridge shingles that sit within the area this cap will cover. Simply apply roof sealant to the underside of this cap, around the perimeter, press down on top of the roofing material (shingles or metal panels) and drive screws with rubber washers (not included) through the holes in each flat surface of this cap and into the roof deck. Reinstall ridge shingles so the last ridge shingle overlaps this cap, about 3″. Apply roof sealant to all edges of the ridge shingles that sit on top of this cap.
