Made of heavy metal, this cap seals the peak of an octagon gazebo whether it has shingles or standing seam metal roofing. All corner joints in this cap are tack welded and sealed with all weather butyl tape on the inner side. This cap comes painted black with black paint. It can be spray painted over with desired color to match shingles or metal panels.

This cap is available for 3-12 to 4-12 and 5-12 to 6-12 pitched octagon roofs. It fits perfectly at the peak and provides weather proof seal at this difficult to seal area.

Simply apply roof sealant to the underside of this cap, around the perimeter, press down on top of the roofing material (shingles or metal panels) and drive screws with rubber washers (not included) through the hole in each flat surface of this cap and into the roof deck. Install ridge shingles or metal ridge caps overlapping the cap about 3″, with sealant under surfaces that overlap this cap.

Stainless Steel version also available for some sizes. To reduce reflection and glare off the stainless steel caps, spray a coat of exterior grade Krylon spray paint.
