Lumber size
Uses dimensional 6×6 posts and headers lumber members.
The roof structure [rafters, cross tie beams, and roof skirts] shall be constructed using 2×6 or 2×8 lumber for Octagon structures up to 16-1/2 feet wide and using 2×8 lumber for Octagon structures exceeding 16-1/2 feet wide.
