Roland Rivera –
This part works to check rafter end cuts and roof skirt lengths. It works like a check gage. And it makes the work very easy. Very happy with this part.
Mitchell Baker –
This part fit perfectly on my rafter ends. Worked great to hold roof skirt up while I aligned them all around. It really makes this step of finishing the roof very easy.
Ron Adams –
This part works as quality control for the rafter end cut angles. If you cut the rafter ends correctly, the v tip in this part aligns with the v end of the rafter perfectly. If you do not, this part will visually show you that your cut is off. Use this part to setup your rafter end cut angles first. Cut the end of a scrap wood piece by setting the cut angles you need to use for the rafter ends. Then place this part on the cut end to check your cut angles. If it aligns correctly, cut all other rafters using the same saw settings. If it does not adjust and cut the scrap wood piece again until you get it right.
In this way you can make your rafter ends perfect. This is what I call a smart-DIY part. Very happy with this part deisgn.
