Jose Santana –
Unique design. Very easy to install and operates smoothly. We installed these on our deck perimeter to stop irritating wind blasts. Very pleased with the final results.
John Grover –
Added two of these in the front porch above the knee wall. Used 60″ slats. Amazing! IT filled the whole open wall. The front door is fully protected from storms and debris. Love the high-end appearance! Will probably order more soon.
Henry McBride –
Easy to install. Slats fit easily. Easy to add slats and slat screws. Very happy with it. Will buy more for other areas.
Nathan Dewis –
Arrived sooner than expected. Good parts. Easy to install like they say. Looks great and rotates smoothly. Very impressed.

We added three of these to the walls around our hottub. We bypassed Riooutdoor’s max 60″ length and instead used 72″ long slats. They were correct, the 72″ long slats do bow in the middle. But we don’t mind that. The louvers look great and work great.
They keep all blowing leaves and debri out of our hottub area. When windy, we open them slightly to blow steam out but not blow direclty on us in the hottub. We keep the louvers closed when we are not using the hottub.
We cannot wait until winter time when we can now get in the hottub. This will keep out blowing snow and keep out cold wind. We are super happy with these kits.

Unlike the cheap plastic louver parts which come loose in the box and it takes forever to drill holes on the wall sides and to assemble them, this kit is fully factory assembled. This is made of steel and painted black. So easy to install on the wall and add slats. Adding the main brackets took about 5 min total. Cutting slats took about 20 minutes. Drilling pilot holes and driving the small screws into the slats took another 5 minutes.
We used 60″ long slats. The louver covers a huge 15 sq. ft. opening. Our opening height was about 45″ which left a 4-1/2″ gap above and below the louver brackets. We cut 1×6 down to 4-1/2″ and added them as fillers to close the two gaps.
The finished louvers look awesome even without painting the slats. They work great to stop rainstorms and wind. It looks very high end. We are very happy.

Super easy to install. The toughest work was to make the opening sides plumb and square. We’ve had our louvers for over 4 weeks now. It was a bit tough to rotate them when new but after a few days of use, they loosened up and now they work very easily and smoothly. We added these to our front porch to keep out blowing leaves, rain, and snow. Now we have a nice shelter at our front door which is practically weather proofed. Loving it.
